The Applied Arts Practicum is a capstone course intended to provide students with the opportunity to
apply the skills and knowledge learned in AV Production Programs of Study in a working environment.
Students in the recording studio will utilize and refine their skills in problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and project management
through the management of the daily operations at PIE. Instruction will be delivered through work-based learning internships. Completion of the practicum will prepare students to pursue postsecondary study in
A/V technology or communications programs or enter a career with the aid of an AV practicum portfolio.
